After the 2014 Leh trip, the adventure touring bug was bitten, sold R15 to buy a good adventure bike that can do two-up touring comfortable, Waited for a couple of years for KTM to launch the Adventure 390 which was delayed too long. Even though I couldn’t ride much because of having a baby in 2015, the thought of not having a bike did not sit well with me, finally gave up on the adventure bike and went with the KTM 390. It was a no-brainer at that time. At 2.31 L, I would get to ride a fast bike which was very raw in terms of power.
Did a lot of small rides with it around Bangalore in the next few years but hardly toured anywhere. Kid, startup everything kept me super busy.
Covid hit in 2020 and riding came to stand still, with a lot of time at home, the thought of twin cylinder bike which was a long dream started creeping in again. Decided to sell KTM, and one of my dear friend Karthik picked it up.
